Founded in 2005, Space Coast Vascular is a vascular laboratory and treatment center in Melbourne, FL. We have 30 years of vascular medical experience we use to ensure we provide you with the best services possible. We are an IAC-accredited lab and are affiliated with the Medical Associates of Brevard. We can perform a majority of procedures in our in-office surgery suite. Dr. Peter S. Dovgan
Peter S. Dovgan, M.D., received his undergraduate medical degree at Creighton University. He then trained in general surgery at Creighton-affiliated hospitals, completing his fellowship in vascular surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
At the Arizona Heart Institute in Phoenix, he received additional endovascular training and then joined the University of Florida as an Assistant Professor of Vascular Surgery in Jacksonville, Florida. He began treating varicose veins in 2001 and was one of the first in the area to use VNUS closure. Over 1,000 closures have been performed.
Dr. Dovgan is a member of the Society of Vascular Surgery and a member of the American College of Phlebology.
